Closing-ceremony for Summer Courses was Held at Confucius Institute at University of Banja Luka

On Aug.15, 2019, a closing-ceremony for summer courses was held at classroom 304 in the Faculty of Political Science at University of Banja Luka. 18 learns attended the ceremony.

After showing learners their tests results, Chinese teacher Gao invited a few high-achieving learners to share their Chinese learning experience. Sandra Brankovic showed how to memorize Chinese characters in a short time and talked about how she overcame all the difficulties while learning a new language. The youngest learner Ksenija Duronjic (7 years old) had a Chinese conversations with her classmates about name, age, family members and nationality.

All the learners tried Chinese calligraphy on rice paper with a brush. After a brief introduction on calligraphy’s history, the four treasures in the study, the interesting stories of some great calligraphers, they were deeply attracted by this beautiful writing art. They started with the five basic strokes, and then practiced with some simple characters they learned.

Then all the learners got their certificates from Chinese teacher Gao Yang, which says they have finished HSK1 course successfully.
