International Weiqi (engl. GO) Tournament at Zelenkovac

The Confucius Institute at the University of Banja Luka participated together with the GO Association of the City of Banja Luka in the International Weiqi (engl. GO) Tournament, which was held at Zelenkovac from 20 to 22 June 2025.

This was the 17th International Open Weiqi Tournament, which this year was also attended by the Confucius Institute professors and students of the Confucius Institute's Weiqi Course, held every Saturday since February in the hall of the Faculty of Political Science, on the University Campus.

The Weiqi Course at the Confucius Institute, led by the professional instructor Dragan Barišić, will continue from September, and anyone interested in learning this ancient Chinese board game, which has the greatest number of players worldwide, can sign up at: konfucijev.institut@unibl.org
