The study trip to China for students of the Sinology Study Programme, students of the Confucius Institute and professors of the University of Banja Luka took place from 29 June to 8 July 2023.
This kind of study visits enable students to go to a country where they can experience everything they have learned about, and it is an opportunity for professors to present their faculties, departments and study programmes, exchange experiences and establish cooperation with colleagues in China.
The study visit took place at Tianjin University of Technology and Education (TUTE), which is
the organizer of this study trip in collaboration with the Confucius Institute of the University of
Banja Luka.
During this visit, different lectures, workshops and cultural visits to various sights in Beijing and Tianjin were organized, such as the Great Wall of China in Jixian County, Tiananmen Square, part of the Forbidden City and the Temple of Heaven in Beijing, Porcelain House, the grandiose Tianjin Binhai New Area Library (nicknamed The Eye) and other places in Tianjin.
Chinese language classes with native speakers were organized for Sinology students and students of the Confucius Institute.
These study trips are very important for students and professors of the University of Banja Luka, as they enable them to strengthen cooperation and have a scientific exchange with one of the leading countries in the world, where education is the most important element in the further development of individuals and society.
