"Chinese Bridge" Competition for Primary School Students Held in Banja Luka

On 24 May 2025, the preliminary round of the "Chinese Bridge" competition for primary school students was held in Banja Luka.

At this competition, organized by the Confucius Institute at the University of Banja Luka in cooperation with the Embassy of the People's Republic of China in Bosnia and Herzegovina, participants had the opportunity to demonstrate their knowledge of the Chinese language, culture and traditions through speech, music, dance and other creative content.

The first place and the opportunity to represent her country at the final competition in China was won by Varis Oruc from Sarajevo. Amra Avdagić, from Sarajevo, and Mila Maksić, from Banja Luka, shared the second place, while the third place went to Elena Panić, Mateja Lukić and Sara Draganić from Banja Luka.

"Chinese Bridge" is a competition that connects all those who are interested in the Chinese language and culture, and the preliminary competition is held once a year in a large number of countries around the world. The winners of the preliminary part have the opportunity to show their knowledge and represent their country at the final competition in Beijing.
