The Confucius Institute of the University of Banja Luka is organizing a new cycle of Chinese language courses that will last from 16 September to 27 December 2024.
The courses are free for students and employees of the University of Banja Luka, as well as for primary and secondary school students who choose to attend the course at the premises of the Confucius Institute. Otherwise, the price of the course is BAM 200.
The Confucius Institute also organizes online Chinese language courses, which are to be held in the above-mentioned period, thus enabling everyone to attend the classes.
Business Chinese
The Business Chinese language course, intended for those who wish to improve their professional or international career by mastering the basics of business communication in the Chinese language, will also be held in the above-mentioned period. The price of this course is BAM 200, and it is free for secondary school students.
Students of all courses have the opportunity to learn Chinese from lecturers from China and local sinologists, and after completing the three-month course they are awarded certificates. Classes are held twice a week, in the evening, lasting for 90 minutes, and standard HSK textbooks, divided into six levels, or standard business textbooks for Business Chinese language course are used.
In addition to the Chinese language courses, twice a year the Confucius Institute organizes the Chinese Proficiency Test HSK, an international standardized test of Chinese language proficiency, or the YCT exam for primary school students. In this way, the students may check their knowledge of Chinese and get internationally recognized certificates.
Tai Chi Chuan course
The Chinese martial art Tai Chi Chuan course will continue in the forthcoming period and is free of charge. The course will be held twice a week outdoors, in front of the Faculty of Political Science of the University of Banja Luka or in the hall of the Faculty, depending on weather conditions.
