Banja Luka Grammar School students are soon getting a Confucius Classroom in which they will be able to improve their Chinese language and learn more about the Chinese culture, history, philosophy...
Banja Luka Grammar School is one of the few secondary schools in the region that in a very
short period of time got approval to open the Confucius Classroom, which is a great success for both the school and the City of Banja Luka.
Works on the adaptation of the classroom in the Grammar School are ongoing and are expected to be completed by the beginning of the new school year. Architects Diana Stupar and Maja Aleksić from the Faculty of Architecture, Civil Engineering and Geodesy at the University of Banja Luka, who were also in charge of adapting the premises of the Confucius Institute at the University of Banja Luka, are in charge of the Confucius Classroom project.
Confucius Classrooms are offshoots of Confucius Institutes, and are located in primary and
secondary schools. In this way, a larger number of students have the opportunity to learn and
improve their knowledge of the Chinese language and learn more about the Chinese culture
through classes and different activities and projects.
